FaceScan
Privacy Policy
We built FaceScan with a simple principle: your data stays on your device. This policy explains exactly what permissions we use, what data is processed, and how we protect your privacy.

At a Glance
1. Data Collected
- ◎Camera frames used to compute the face mesh (processed in real time on-device, never stored)
- ◎Analysis results such as beauty score, symmetry score, and face shape (stored only locally if you choose to save)
- ◎No biometric identifiers are stored or transmitted
2. Permissions Used
Camera
to capture your face for on-device mesh analysis
Read/Write Storage
to save analysis results or mesh exports to your gallery
Internet
not required; all analysis runs offline
3. Sensitive Data & Biometrics
FaceScan uses MediaPipe Face Mesh to map 468 facial landmarks. This computation happens entirely on your device and the raw landmark data is not stored after each analysis session ends.
We do not create, store, or transmit any biometric template, faceprint, or persistent facial identifier. Analysis results (scores and classifications) are only saved locally when you explicitly choose to export them.
4. On-Device Processing Guarantee
Every model — beauty scoring, golden ratio overlay, symmetry calculation, face shape classification, age estimation, and eye color detection — runs locally using TensorFlow Lite and MediaPipe.
Your camera feed is never streamed or uploaded. The app requires no internet connection and functions completely offline.
5. Children's Privacy
FaceScan is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly process facial data from children. If you believe a child has used the app, no data was transmitted; any locally saved results can be deleted from the device.
6. Contact
If you have any questions about this privacy policy or FaceScan, please reach out via the contact page. We respond to all enquiries.
